Carol announced today that "reigning Team MVP Bernard Holmes has been activated from the injured list (knee inj) and will join the team as it travels to square off with the Austin Wranglers this Sunday, March 7 at the Frank Erwin Center.

Holmes (6-0, 172, Texas A&M-Kingsville) rewrote the Cobras record books in 2003 as he led the AFL with 240.1 all-purpose yards per game. In 11 contests, he set new franchise for touchdowns (20), 100-yard receiving games (6), kickoff returns (74), kickoff return yards (1,546) and all-purpose yards (2,641). The seven-year veteran currently ranks among the AFL’s all-time leaders with 421 receptions, 5,134 receiving yards, 94 receiving touchdowns and 9,194 all-purpose yards.

Davis (5-11, 189, South Florida) has been added to Carolina's injured reserve list after suffering a neck injury in last week’s meeting with Orlando. The second-year defender has posted 16.0 tackles and a team-high three passes defended in four games in 2004."

Holmes is awfully good; if he's 100%, he's a difference maker in this game, but it is his first game of the year. Any info anyone obtains on Holmes would be appreciated.
